About the Role

Denali Water Solutions is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Class A CDL End Dump Driver to join our transportation team. This position is responsible for hauling biosolids and bulk materials on regional routes while operating frameless end dump trailers and 13-speed manual transmission trucks. Drivers will transport biosolids from locations throughout Brooklyn, Long Island, and Staten Island to central Pennsylvania, then backhaul stone to cement mills near the home terminal. The ideal candidate will have strong manual transmission experience, excellent safety awareness, and the ability to operate efficiently in both urban and regional driving environments. This position is safety-sensitive and requires a clear mind and diligence. Employees are responsible for their own safety as well as the safety of others.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class A CDL commercial vehicles with frameless end dump trailers
  • Haul biosolids from New York locations to central Pennsylvania facilities
  • Backhaul stone and aggregate materials to cement mills near the home terminal
  • Operate 13-speed manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers
  • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, Hours of Service requirements, and company safety policies
  • Secure loads properly and ensure safe transportation of materials
  • Maintain accurate logs, tickets, and delivery documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and customers
  • Report all accidents, incidents, equipment issues, or safety concerns immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment
  • Attend safety meetings, trainings, and operational briefings

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL License
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
  • Experience operating frameless end dump trailers required
  • Experience operating 13-speed manual transmission trucks required
  • Clean MVR and stable work history
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage regional routes efficiently
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience hauling biosolids, aggregate, stone, or bulk materials
  • Experience driving in urban and high-traffic areas such as New York City boroughs
  • Familiarity with ELD systems and route planning tools
  • Strong mechanical awareness and equipment knowledge

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and perform equipment inspections regularly
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to safely enter and exit trucks and trailers multiple times daily
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with load inspections and trailer operations

Schedule

  • Full-time position

Pay

$25-28 hourly wage
