Class A CDL Drivers Needed 🚛

We are expanding our specialized transport team and seeking safety-driven Class A CDL Drivers who take pride in their equipment, load, paperwork, and reputation.
About the role
Safely operate heavy-spec trucks, multi-axle combinations, flatbeds, step decks, and specialized trailers to transport equipment, materials, crane components, and project freight to Bengal locations, customer sites, industrial facilities, and job sites.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, inspect, and properly secure freight before transport
- Verify bills of lading, delivery paperwork, load details, and required documentation before leaving the yard or job site
- Understand axle weight distribution and work with dispatch, supervision, and the team to adjust loads as needed
- Follow permitted route instructions, DOT requirements, customer site rules, and company safety procedures
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects, repairs, or safety concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate logs, receipts, fuel card records, delivery paperwork, and other required documentation
- Assist team members with loading and unloading cranes, components, equipment, and materials when needed
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, supervision, customers, and other employees
- Participate in company safety programs, meetings, training, and job-site safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Acceptable MVR and company-approved driving record
- Flatbed experience required
- 5+ years of heavy haul, flatbed, multi-axle, or specialized transport experience preferred
- Experience with step deck, multi-axle, steerable, or specialized trailers preferred
- TWIC Card required or ability to obtain as required by customer/job site
- Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred but not required
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and safe load securement practices
- Ability to pass a road test, background check, drug screen, and any customer or job-site access requirements
- Ability to work safely in industrial, construction, yard, and customer job-site environments
- Security Passport and/or applicable safety council training is a plus
Additional Training
- Load Securement Training & Evaluation
- Company road test and equipment evaluation
- Customer/site-specific safety orientation as required
- DOT, FMCSA, and company compliance training as required
- Ongoing safety meetings and job-specific training
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to safely climb in and out of commercial vehicles and trailers
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and work around equipment and moving parts
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, dust, noise, and fumes
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have the vision, coordination, and awareness needed to safely operate commercial vehicles and secure loads
