What We Offer Weekly pay with direct depositVacation + paid holidaysCompany uniform programMajor medical, dental & vision insurancePaid life insurance401(k) retirement planDisability & supplemental insurance optionsConsistent work with a growing specialized fleetLong-term career opportunity with a respected Gulf South companyMilitary friendly employer What You'll Be Doing Safely operate heavy-spec trucks, multi-axle combinations, flatbeds, step decks, and specialized trailersTransport equipment, materials, crane components, and project freight to Bengal locations, customer sites, industrial facilities, and job sitesLoad, unload, inspect, and properly secure freight before transportVerify bills of lading, delivery paperwork, load details, and required documentation before leaving the yard or job siteUnderstand axle weight distribution and work with dispatch, supervision, and the team to adjust loads as neededFollow permitted route instructions, DOT requirements, customer site rules, and company safety proceduresPerform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects, repairs, or safety concerns promptlyMaintain accurate logs, receipts, fuel card records, delivery paperwork, and other required documentationAssist team members with loading and unloading cranes, components, equipment, and materials when neededCommunicate professionally with dispatch, supervision, customers, and other employeesParticipate in company safety programs, meetings, training, and job-site safety requirementsPerform other duties as assigned What You Need Valid Class A CDLCurrent DOT Medical CardAcceptable MVR and company-approved driving recordFlatbed experience required5+ years of heavy haul, flatbed, multi-axle, or specialized transport experience preferredExperience with step deck, multi-axle, steerable, or specialized trailers preferredTWIC Card required or ability to obtain as required by customer/job siteDoubles/Triples endorsement preferred but not requiredKnowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and safe load securement practicesAbility to pass a road test, background check, drug screen, and any customer or job-site access requirementsAbility to work safely in industrial, construction, yard, and customer job-site environmentsSecurity Passport and/or applicable safety council training is a plus Additional Training / Requirements Load Securement Training & EvaluationCompany road test and equipment evaluationCustomer/site-specific safety orientation as requiredDOT, FMCSA, and company compliance training as requiredOngoing safety meetings and job-specific training Physical Requirements Must be able to safely climb in and out of commercial vehicles and trailersMust be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and work around equipment and moving partsMust be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, dust, noise, and fumesMust be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsMust have the vision, coordination, and awareness needed to safely operate commercial vehicles and secure loads Military Friendly Employer Bengal values discipline, safety, accountability, leadership, and teamwork.
