Responsibilities

• Operate Class A trucks for local and regional routes
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of freight while following all company policies and safety procedures
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips
• Secure and unload freight as needed
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
• Adhere to DOT regulations and safe driving practices in varying traffic and weather conditions
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers
• Assist with basic vehicle care and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Possess CDL Class A and strong truck driving skills, with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely handle truck operations, including loading and unloading freight when required
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements for commercial motor vehicles
• Reliability in following route plans, schedules, and delivery instructions
• Strong attention to safety, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections and proper cargo securement
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with dispatch, warehouse, and customer teams
• Ability to lift and move freight as needed and perform job duties while standing, bending, and walking
• Previous experience as a Class A CDL driver or in professional truck driving is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial
