Class A CDL Driver - Water Truck

Responsibilities
- Drive and operate a water truck safely on and off project sites.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Fuel and grease the truck daily.
- Complete tasks involving filling, hauling, and spraying water on project jobsites.
- Spray water by hand using a hose.
- Assist crews with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Class A CDL License with Air Brake endorsement.
- Current Medical Card.
- 2+ years of construction experience.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Willingness to learn and accept direction from supervisors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time, multitask, and prioritize tasks.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach, climb, and lift/carry materials.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and maintain a clean driving record.
Working Conditions
This is a Union position located in either the Shelby, NC area or the Charlotte, NC area, with potential assignments throughout the Eastern Region. The role operates in a construction site environment requiring physical stamina and mobility.
