JOB SUMMARY
The Class A CDL Driver - Tanker Endorsement Required position involves driving USALCO tractor-tankers to deliver chemical products to customer sites. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet all safety requirements, including wearing PPE and following DOT and USALCO standards.
- Load and unload chemical products, perform quality analysis, and document certificates of analysis.
- Attend safety meetings and communicate professionally with all stakeholders.
- Maintain a professional appearance and work closely with site management and employees.
- Work overtime, perform physical labor, and adjust shifts as needed.
- Transport USALCO branded products safely across state lines as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support business goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Organizational and planning skills.
- Dependable, flexible, and responsive to customer needs.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Pass a road test administered by USALCO.
- Complete and maintain a drivers log book / on-board computer with electronic logging system.
- Pass and maintain a current Interstate DOT Class A driver medical card.
- Pass DOT Drug and Alcohol pre-employment test and any required DOT drug tests.
EDUCATION
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazardous Materials endorsements and 3 years of Cargo Tank experience.
- No accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years.
- No DUI or DWI offenses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Routinely lift 80 to 100 pounds and handle 2 to 3 diameter by 22 lengths of product delivery hoses.
- Climb up and down to load racks and tankers for loading and venting/unloading purposes.
- Traverse ship ladders, catwalks, and close quarters.
- Work inside confined spaces as needed.
- Pass and maintain a current Interstate DOT Class A driver medical card.
- Pass DOT Drug and Alcohol pre-employment test and any required DOT drug tests.
- Sit and drive a standard or automatic transmission for the duration of the shift.
