Class A CDL Driver - Spokane, WA
About the role
This position supports the Ridgefield Distribution Center by delivering palletized products to corporate and independent retail stores. Essential functions include performing pre and post trip inspections, delivering and unloading products, reviewing paperwork, and addressing customer problems.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre and post trip inspection of vehicle
- Deliver and unload products using various equipment
- Report any accidents immediately to the Transportation Manager/Department
- Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and secure
- Pick up supplies and back hauls from vendors
- Resolve customer problems as appropriate
- Ensure customer orders arrive in quality condition
Requirements
- Valid medical card and Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Minimum of one year verified experience operating a tractor trailer
- Age 21 or older
- Basic knowledge of DOT law and mandates
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of shipping and receiving functions
- Good judgment is required

Pay
Compensation is competitive and will depend on a variety of factors including education, experience, and qualifications. UNFI is committed to transparency in pay in compliance with applicable state and local laws.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with some weekend work as needed.
