Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth, on-time delivery processes.
• Secure transportation and delivery of various cargo types, focusing on hazardous materials.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations (DOT, OSHA, industry-specific standards).
• Enforce best practices for handling and transporting specialty chemicals.
• Lead efforts within the operations to maintain DOT and safety compliance.
• Oversee equipment operation, ensuring proper inspections before, during, and after trips.
• Ensure operators meet necessary qualifications and safety standards.

Requirements

• Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements.
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card.
• 2 years of recent experience driving a tractor-trailer, chemical tanker, or similar.
• Ability to operate a 10-speed manual transmission.
• At least 23 years old.
• Must possess and maintain a DOT Physical.
• No MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) violations in the past 3 years.
• No major accidents.
• No DUI/DWI offenses.
• Must live within 25-mile radius of Houston, TX and commute to our yard for pick-up of equipment in Houston, TX.

Schedule

• 70 hours per week or as close to that as possible with a 34-hour restart.
• On call based on load availabilities.
• Vehicles will be sleeper equipment.
