Class A CDL Driver - Local Home Daily

About the role

As a local delivery driver at Dutch Farms, you will be delivering refrigerated and frozen food product throughout the Wisconsin area to local grocery stores. Home daily with a 5 a.m. start time.

Schedule

• Scheduled Monday through Friday
• Off every Sunday and Saturday

Pay

• Starting wage of $28 per hour
• Paid weekly
• Weekly gross pay: $1,400 – $1,600
• Annual gross income: $75,000 – $80,000
• Potential additional earnings through bonuses up to $2,200:
  • $1,000 attendance bonus
  • $1,200 safety bonus
  • $500 referral bonuses

Responsibilities

• Inspect and complete thorough pre- and post-trip checks on all equipment
• Utilize pressure bars and e-track bars to ensure load securement and safety
• Safe unloading of product at customer deliveries
• Maintain all necessary and accurate load paperwork
• Maintain good professional communication with management
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations

Requirements

• Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Must be familiar with electronic logs and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
• English Language Proficiency (ELP) required in compliance with DOT regulations
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and rotate with a Physical Demand Limit (PDL) generally at 60–70 lbs., with occasional PDL at 150 lbs.
