Class A CDL Driver

This position involves the timely pickup, labeling, loading, and delivery of shipments, using the required equipment, policies, and procedures. It could involve driving a tractor-trailer unit to one or more customer locations and returning to the original domicile during the same shift.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, ship, receive, scan, sort, and stock packages
• Utilize heavy machinery (e.g., pallet movers, stand-up forklifts) to load/unload palletized freight
• Deliver and pick up packages to/from residential and/or commercial properties
• Ensure safe transportation methods to and from destinations
• Maintain efficiency and dedication to provide the best customer service
• Leverage technology to aid in delivery services
• Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
• Class A CDL with tractor/trailer experience
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• HazMat endorsement
• Pass a UPS road test, DOT physical (including a drug screen), and all necessary background checks
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Workdays, nights, and/or weekends
