Class A CDL Driver
Duties
- Obey all federal, state, and local rules and regulations of the road including all DOT operating and recording procedures.
- Conduct daily face to face interaction with customers, representing Alamance Foods in a friendly, competent, and professional manner.
- P erforming pre and post trip vehicle inspections as well as collecting invoice receipts that are generated from the deliveries.
- Transport materials and products to other job site locations as required while ensuring all documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), is accurate and complete.
- Accurately and timely complete all transportation documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), delivery receipts, and shipping manifests.
Qualifications
- Education/Training/Certifications: High School Diploma/ GED
- Related Experience: Minimum of 2 years of A Commercial driving experience
- Knowledge/Skills Experience: Class “A” CDL License in good standing
- Ability to work in the United States
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 50+ pound
- Lift-gate, reefer, electric pallet jack and forklift experience helpful

About the Role
As a Driver for Alamance Foods, you will be responsible for completion of daily route as assigned in a timely manner, with safety and production in focus. Conducting daily face to face interaction with customers; representing Alamance Foods in a friendly, competent, and professional manner. Duties may include but not be limited to breaking down product, shelf stacking, offloading with electric pallet jacks, performing pre and post trip vehicle inspections as well as collecting invoice receipts that are generated from the deliveries.
