About the role

You will ensure the safety of each delivery from departure to completion, handling both ground and rooftop deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
  • Adhere to assigned delivery schedules and follow all job directives precisely.
  • Document each delivery step by taking and uploading photos using our camera phone system.
  • Complete a thorough load check before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Work with the Delivery Material Handler to determine material placement and unload materials.
  • Complete and file all logs and government paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Provide customers with an invoice upon delivery completion and collect payment for COD deliveries.
  • Perform warehouse duties as assigned, including loading and unloading materials.

This position does not require over-the-road travel.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL – Class A required.
  • Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (common cargo includes 70-pound bundles of shingles).
  • Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
  • Pre-employment and random drug screens are required.

Preferred qualifications include flatbed truck experience and knuckle boom truck experience.

Pay

$22-30/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
