About the role
Responsible for delivering goods across various routes in compliance with safety regulations. Must hold a valid Class A CDL license.
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently
- Load and unload cargo according to specifications
- Communicate with dispatchers to plan delivery schedules
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and accurately
- Maintain vehicle maintenance logs and report any issues to management
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Passing DOT drug and alcohol test
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems
