Class A CDL Commercial Driver - Lowboy Driver

About the role

We are seeking a Class A CDL driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have good communication and time management skills, along with a strong desire to provide an exceptional customer experience and some heavy-haul driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Load heavy equipment onto a lowboy for transportation, including proper cargo securement and binding.
• Operate the commercial motor vehicle safely.
• Unload heavy equipment from the lowboy.
• Haul heavy equipment to various job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Ensure the load is clean and secure before transporting.
• Ensure the equipment being transported complies with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• A valid CLASS A commercial driver's license (CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• A clean driving record.
• Three years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Experience hauling wide loads.
• Familiarity with operating and fixing minor maintenance issues on various types of heavy equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, bend, kneel, turn, twist, push, pull, squat, and climb.
• Ability to speak English well enough to communicate with customers, pilots, etc.

Benefits

Compensation based on experience, ranging from $55,000 - $105,000 yearly. Bilingual applicants are highly preferred and must speak and understand English.
