Class A Building Flex Security Officer

About the Role

E.K.G Security, Inc. is seeking an observant, vigilant, and flexible Class A Building Flex Security Officer to protect commercial properties around Atlanta Metro, GA. This is an unarmed, full-time on-call position with open schedule availability required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls and provide on-site support as needed
• Attentively monitor assigned locations and report suspicious activities
• Read and write detailed reports
• Provide professional customer service and treat clients respectfully
• Quickly respond to and resolve critical situations
• Enforce client procedures and standards
• Operate radios, phones, and console monitors

Requirements

• 18+ years old
• 2+ years of security, military, or law enforcement experience
• Ability to work any day or time, including weekends and holidays (reasonable accommodations available for disabilities and religious beliefs)
• Ability to walk up and down stairs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for long periods (occasionally 8+ hours)
• Ability to pass state-required training and meet licensing requirements
• Ability to complete crisis prevention and site-specific training
• Excellent English communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

An associate degree is a plus.

Pay

$20.00/hour

Schedule

Full-time, on-call position with 24/7 coverage requirements. Must be available to work any day or time, including weekends and holidays.
