Class A/B CDL Driver/Operator

About the role

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A or B CDL Operator to join their safety-conscious team. This position involves the safe and proper execution of HPC Industrial jobs across all services lines, supervising and completing single task jobs, and transitioning military personnel into civilian roles.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative, overseeing safety policies and procedures for both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response, and administrative functions.
• Operate and maintain vacuum equipment, hydroblasting equipment, and special equipment like Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment.
• Unload vacuum trucks at the dump site.
• Provide general maintenance in the field.
• Complete pre and post-trip inspections, driver’s logs, and comply with all DOT requirements.
• Load and unload hoses.
• Direct a crew of vacuum technicians.
• Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
• May be required to examine surfaces cleaned to ensure they meet company and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training, and essential experience gained on other jobs.
• Valid driver’s license, CDL Class A or B, and other requirements of company’s driving policy.
• Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required.
• Knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck.
• Working knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.

Pay

The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this role. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to the base salary, some roles may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
