Class A/B CDL Driver / Equip Operator, Manual Transmission Exp Monaca

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Monca, PA is seeking a safety-conscious Class A or B CDL Driver/Equipment Operator.

About the role

As a CDL Operator, you will supervise and complete single-task jobs requiring one crew and manage turnarounds with oversight at client sites, adhering to client, business, and company policies. A Tanker Endorsement and manual transmission experience are required. This role is ideal for transitioning military personnel looking to leverage their skills in civilian life.

Responsibilities

• Act as the safety representative, ensuring compliance with company and customer safety policies, including emergency response and administrative functions.
• Operate vacuum equipment, hydro blasting equipment, ultra-high-pressure pumps, and specialized cleaning equipment.
• Examine surfaces post-cleaning to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment.
• Handle duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines, and jet rodders.
• Direct a crew of vacuum technicians when required.
• Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, driver’s logs, and comply with DOT requirements.
• Load and unload hoses, and unload vacuum trucks at dump sites.
• Provide general field maintenance and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid Class A or B CDL License with Tanker endorsement; no restrictions on manual transmission operation.
• Language proficiency in English to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
• Knowledge of emergency equipment operation, such as fire extinguishers.
• Experience operating vacuum trucks preferred.
• Working knowledge of wet and dry vacuum equipment.
• Availability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
