Class 2 Engineer - 2nd Shift

Overview

The operating engineer will ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate various equipments, maintaining domestic hot and cold water systems, and observing various electrical to ensure proper operation.
• Make repairs to guest room and public spaces as necessary including but not limited to kitchen, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
• Perform cleaning and general maintenance duties in the engineering spaces as well as other assigned daily operations.
• Receive direction for house calls via radio.
• Maintain temperatures throughout the building.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Class 2 operating engineer license.
• Universal EPA certificate.
• Ability to work AM, PM, overnight, weekend and holiday shifts. Schedule will vary according to business and operational needs.
