About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager (Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Systems/Manufacturing) to join our team. This position involves managing large, complex projects within budgeted resources to completion, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and manage project risks.
  • Develop the scope of the project through collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement project plans.
  • Specify all relevant company and industry standards required for the design, installation, and construction of the assigned project.
  • Develop requests for quote that include all relevant information for bidding projects.
  • Identify and apply for/facilitate any necessary permitting.
  • Execute projects by managing contracted and in-house resources, preparing all relevant project execution procedures, specifications, and documentation, and ensuring compliance with EHS targets.
  • Embed a strong safety culture in the project team, contractors, and workers on site.
  • Follow up on projects to ensure proper execution, prepare progress reports, and prepare punch lists towards the end of all projects.
  • Commission and handover projects by following up on punch lists to verify projects are completed and coordinating with all stakeholders, creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, and making it available for handoff upon project completion.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree (Bachelor’s).
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial project management.
  • Has successfully managed large, complex projects within budgeted resources to completion with outstanding results.
  • Organizational and project management skills, along with effective communication skills.
  • Skilled at managing contractors and consultants.
  • Experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the wire manufacturing industry.
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering experience.
  • Extensive knowledge in steel and concrete.
  • Project Management certifications.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building systems, utilities, and repair procedures relating to facilities management as well as life safety monitoring and control systems for equipment.
  • Strong computing and software skills including AutoCAD & Microsoft Office.

Schedule

The schedule for this role may vary based on project needs and phases.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
