Job ID: ClampTruck Driver – 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm, Monday-Friday with some Saturdays) at Sealy, TX location.
About the role
As a Clamp Truck Operator, you will move raw materials (large paper rolls) through the plant to and from the production area and load/unload trailers in a fast-paced, high-production environment. This role requires working in a non-climate-controlled setting exposed to heat and cold.
Responsibilities
- Transport large paper rolls between storage and production areas using a clamp truck.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently.
- Work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production goals.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent; post-high school training preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of industrial truck operator experience.
- 1+ years of clamp truck driving experience (preferred).
- Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
- Must pass pre-employment skills testing, post-offer background check, physical, and drug screening.
- Corrugated industry experience is a plus.
Pay
- Hourly rate: $22.59/hr.
- Sign-on bonuses: $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year, and an additional bonus at 2 years.
- Retention bonuses: $500 after 1 year and an additional lump sum after 2 years.
Schedule
- Full-time, 2nd shift: 3pm–11pm, Monday–Friday with some Saturdays.
