Claims Support Specialist, Medical Stop Loss - Hybrid

This role is instrumental in supporting effective claims handling. It is hybrid for our Scottsdale, AZ location.

Line of Business and Team

The A&H MBU takes a full-spectrum approach to designing and servicing a robust slate of products tailored to needs in Employer Stop Loss, Excess Medical, Life, and Ancillary and Supplemental benefits.

The A&H MBU recorded $746M in gross premium written at year-end 2024.

What You Will Do

• Enter claim submissions into the claims management system
• Monitor and manage claim and notice inboxes
• Upload and flag supporting documentation for review by the Claims Examiner team
• Enter various types of claim notices (50%, trigger, case management) into the claim system
• Identify complex and/or catastrophic claim notices and escalate to leadership as necessary
• Refer relevant cases to the Cost Containment team
• Maintain thorough reporting and open communication with Supervisor regarding assigned areas of responsibility

What You Will Bring To C&F

• A high school diploma required; Associate degree preferred
• 3+ years’ office experience required; medical claims experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with an aptitude to learn new programs (DY/ESL Office experience preferred)
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and satisfaction
• Effective time management and prioritization
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
