Claims Specialist - Aviation

Responsibilities
- Handle claims across all sub-classes of NA Aerospace, with a focus on general aviation aircraft damage and liability claims.
- Identify loss trends and risk management opportunities and provide feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Manage and adjust AIG’s NA Aerospace general aviation hull and liability claims with a strong technical capability.
- Minimize the total cost of Aerospace claims through proactive and efficient management.
- Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and brokers.
- Contribute to the teams' technical aerospace proficiencies through team meetings and internal roundtables.
- Effectively manage vendors, including attorneys and experts, to minimize the total cost of Aerospace claims.
Requirements
- Expertise in managing and adjusting AIG’s NA Aerospace general aviation hull and liability claims.
- Ability to establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and brokers.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues and problem solve.
- Developed computer proficiency with an aptitude for claims systems.
- Self-motivated, able to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This role is primarily based in the office, but remote work may be considered for certain candidates.
