Claims Operations Manager

What You’ll Do

• Maintains accuracy and timeliness of claim processing.
• Develops and implements claims processing standards using automated systems and technology.
• Evaluates and ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and contractual requirements.
• Maintains efficiency of the department through monitoring reports and quality audits.
• Trains new and existing staff on proper procedures and protocols.
• Promotes excellent customer service with both internal and external clients.
• Collaborates with internal departments for planning, training, and management purposes.

To Qualify For This Position

• Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of job-related work experience.
• Required Work Experience: 4 years of claims processing experience, including 2 years of lead or supervisory experience or 2 years of equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.
• Required Skills and Abilities: Analyzes claims deferrals, diagnoses claims issues, enters claims data, reviews work from others, uses sound reasoning when processing claims.
