About the Role

In this leadership role, you'll guide a team of Workers' Compensation Claims Representatives and technical staff, helping them deliver exceptional service while driving strong claim outcomes. You'll provide direction on claim strategy, support professional development, and create an environment where people can do their best work.

Work Location

This position offers both remote and hybrid work locations. Candidates within 50 miles of an office location (West Bend, Madison, Appleton) will have a hybrid schedule. Fully remote candidates (beyond 50 miles) may occasionally travel to an office for team meetings, training, or corporate events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team handling workers' compensation claims from investigation through resolution.
• Serve as a trusted resource on complex claim matters while providing coaching and support to help team members grow.
• Influence day-to-day claim operations and larger department initiatives using data, trends, and performance insights.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and celebrate team successes.
• Mentor adjusters, guide performance conversations, and build team capability to foster a high-performing and engaged team.
• Balance customer service, claim quality, and business results.

Requirements

• Several years of workers' compensation claim handling experience.
• Proven leadership success.
• Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style.
• Professional designations such as AIC, AINS, or CPCU are valued.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and any required claims licensing.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $110,000–$137,000. The actual base pay offered will be based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
