Claims manager responsible for technical oversight of aviation liability claims for North America supervising in-house adjusting staff, outside independent adjusters and attorneysWill be primary contact on key client accounts as well as for brokersProvide appropriate indemnity and expense reserving philosophy for the companyHandle an inventory of claims and provide supervision of lawsuits for third party litigationConduct limited file reviewsBill time on billable filesAssist with marketing presentations for new business and the retention of current clients Qualifications BA in Business Administration or equivalent discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 8-12 years of progressively more complex aviation or premises liability claim adjusting experiencePrefer advanced designation such as AIC, SCLA, or CPCUStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written skills Starr is an equal opportunity employer, which means we'll consider all suitably qualified applicants regardless of gender identity or expression, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or beliefs, age, sexual orientation, disability status or any other protected characteristic.
