Claims Manager - Aviation

Responsibilities

• Technical oversight of aviation liability claims for North America
• Supervise in-house adjusting staff, outside independent adjusters and attorneys
• Primary contact on key client accounts and for brokers
• Provide appropriate indemnity and expense reserving philosophy for the company
• Handle an inventory of claims and provide supervision of lawsuits for third party litigation
• Conduct limited file reviews
• Bill time on billable files
• Aid with marketing presentations for new business and the retention of current clients

Requirements

• BA in Business Administration or equivalent discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 8-12 years of progressively more complex aviation or premises liability claim adjusting experience
• Prioritize advanced designations such as AIC, SCLA, or CPCU
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
