Claims Data Entry Operator
Location: Lexington, KY — Onsite
About The Role
As a Medical Claims Data Entry Operator, you will accurately process information from medical claim forms while balancing speed, accuracy, and productivity. You will work within established processes and systems to help ensure information is entered correctly and work is completed efficiently. This role is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter information from medical claim forms into designated systems.
- Review information carefully and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Meet productivity expectations while balancing speed, accuracy, and quality.
- Work with a sense of urgency and remain focused throughout the workday.
- Use computer systems and learn new applications and processes as needed.
- Organize and prioritize work while adapting to changing workflow needs.
- Occasionally assist other departments and support additional workflow needs.
- Follow established processes and procedures to support consistent quality.
- Maintain reliable attendance and meet scheduled work hours.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent level of education.
- Ability to type a minimum of 20 words per minute (WPM) on a computer and successfully complete a typing assessment.
- Good computer and IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems and applications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflow requirements.
- Ability to work independently and remain focused in a quiet work environment.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship.
Training
Paid training is provided on the job and is expected to last approximately 1–2 weeks. Training will prepare you to learn the systems, processes, quality expectations, and workflow requirements needed to perform the role successfully.

Pay
$16.00 per hour. The estimated salary range for this role is $26,600 - $33,250.
