Job Summary
The Claims Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting customers during times of claim related to their collectibles. This includes handling payment requests, drafting and sending settlement/release agreements, maintaining insurance logs, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process payment requests.
- Draft and send settlement/release agreements.
- Accurately maintain insurance logs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of claim activities, correspondence, and decisions.
- Provide timely updates on the status of payments.
- Provide exceptional internal customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to process payment requests for customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- 2+ years of administrative experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite Products.
- Knowledge of Salesforce would be an asset.
Physical Requirements
- Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting for extended periods.
- Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks.
- Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 pounds.
- Phone Answering: Talking on the phone and texting may be required, as well as manual dexterity to operate a computer and phone system efficiently.
- Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is $20.50-$23. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set.
