Position Overview
The coordinator is responsible for speaking with customers, managing claims, following up on service complaints, and ensuring timely completion of insurance Service Level Agreement tasks.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand the claims flow process for water mitigation, reconstruction, contents, and environmental work.
- Manage data entry from First Notice of Loss through job completion in the CRM system.
- Daily review compliance tasks and ensure all job tasks are completed on time.
- Monitor and update jobs in the required operating system to ensure efficient claim process.
- Create and upload photos and documents in real time, ensuring they are appropriately described and titled.
- Follow up to obtain missing homeowner and insurance/mortgage information.
- Create and assist with job estimates, reviewing final estimates to ensure completeness.
- Handle customer service issues and complaints, documenting actions and resolutions.
- Ensure constant communication with customers and adjusters, entering daily notes in all jobs.
- Escalate to department manager as necessary.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree or applicable experience preferred.
- One to three years of Xactimate experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Personal time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and CRM software.
- Experience with customer interaction and conflict resolution.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Must be prepared to move up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Sitting for long periods while using office equipment.
- Finger and repetitive motion activities.
- Close visual acuity for detailed activities.
- Exposure to various indoor working conditions.
Compensation
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
