Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities

  • Processes claims by reviewing filings, providing and gathering information, and preparing reports.
  • Obtains information by contacting witnesses, attorneys, claimants, and others; developing questions; reviewing files and documents; and conducting research.
  • Serves as a resource in areas of general and/or specialized knowledge; attends meetings; assists in preparation of public education materials.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information.
  • Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and collaborative manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Legal Studies, Public Administration or related courses preferred and one year of professional work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive written and verbal communications skills are necessary.
  • Attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with other employees and the general public required.
