About the role
This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage complex claim inventory by assessing issues and providing oversight
- Serve as subject matter expert for complex claims in key jurisdictions
- Evaluate claim exposure and recommend action plans for resolutions
- Document clear and concise file notes to clarify issues and resolutions
- Facilitate roundtables with teams and engage appropriate resources
- Provide technical leadership on complex claims and promote quality improvement
- Support the organization's overall quality programs
Requirements
- 8+ years of claims management experience or equivalent education/experience mix
- 3-5 years of handling complex claims
- Strong negotiation, mediation, and arbitration skills required
- Bachelor's degree preferred, professional certification advantageous
- Licenses required as per line of business
Pay
$120,000 – $130,000 annually
