Responsibilities

- Applying knowledge of policies and insurance regulations
- Tailoring conversations to specific claims details
- Handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls
- Writing correspondence and various electronic media
- Managing tasks through task-driven queues
- Supporting customers through personalized interactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience
- Experience as a Claim Specialist in auto and/or property claims
- Proficiency in using CCC, Xactimate, XactContents, and other estimating/evaluation software tools
- Strong knowledge of auto and/or property insurance policies, coverage, and claim handling practices
- Familiarity with state or local regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to assess damages, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven effective empathy and de-escalation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Able to multi-task across technical platforms
- Accountable and resourceful
