Claim Consultant Cyber & Technology
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Claim Consultant Cyber & Technology to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will manage a specialized caseload involving cyber and technology claims, with a strong focus on coverage analysis, liability assessment, and resolution strategy. The position partners closely with customers, counsel, and internal stakeholders to investigate incidents, evaluate exposures, and guide timely claim responses. It is well suited for a legal professional who brings disciplined claim handling, advanced negotiation skills, and experience navigating both first-party and third-party matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of both first-party and third-party cyber and technology claims
- Investigate cyber security incidents and coordinate timely responses with customers and counsel
- Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages based on claim facts
- Set and adjust expense and indemnity reserves as needed
- Develop resolution strategies through negotiations to achieve top-quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Juris Doctorate preferred
- At least three years of experience handling litigated cyber and technology claims as defense counsel or a claims handler
- Knowledge of first-party and third-party claims is a plus
- Proven ability to deliver results with a disciplined, goal-oriented approach
- Advanced negotiation and technical claim handling skills required

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $122,400 – $183,600 annually
