Responsibilities
- Lead transportation projects from initial planning and design through construction and project closeout
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, agencies, stakeholders, and project partners
- Lead and coordinate engineers, designers, and other technical team members
- Maintain project financial performance, schedules, resources, and overall project delivery
- Provide technical oversight and review transportation plans, reports, drawings, and other deliverables
- Ensure projects meet applicable agency requirements, design standards, codes, and quality requirements
- Identify project risks and resolve technical, schedule, budget, and client issues
- Support proposals, client development, and pursuit of new transportation work as applicable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 10+ years of civil/transportation engineering experience, including project management responsibility
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience managing transportation design projects, budgets, schedules, clients, and technical teams
- Knowledge of roadway/transportation design principles and applicable agency standards
- Experience working with DOT, municipal, or other public-sector transportation clients preferred
