Civil Transmission Line Engineer

As a Transmission Line Engineer, you won’t just support projects—you’ll help design and deliver the infrastructure powering the energy transition. Responsibilities
- Design & Build Critical Infrastructure – Support the planning, design, and construction of transmission line projects that keep communities powered and connected.
- Engine Smart Solutions – Perform engineering calculations and apply civil, mechanical, or electrical principles to develop efficient, reliable transmission support systems.
- Learn from the Best – Work alongside experienced engineers who will mentor you, guide your development, and help you grow into a technical expert or project leader.
- Owning Your Growth – Participate in a structured development program, with support for PE licensure and opportunities to expand into areas like planning, protection, or leadership.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 1+ years of experience (civil or electrical preferred—but driven entry-level candidates encouraged!)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for engineering real-world solutions
- Eagerness to learn tools like AutoCAD and PLS-CADD
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly across teams
- A growth mindset and interest in building a long-term engineering career

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $82,000.00 - $87,000.00/yr.
Work Environment
Based in Indianapolis, IN. Primarily office-based with occasional field exposure for site visits and hands-on learning. Standard 40-hour workweek with flexibility (including potential WFH Fridays after onboarding).
