Civil / Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Fieldwork to document as-built conditions and damage to structural systems
• Perform failure cause & origin analysis on building systems
• Author technical reports
• Conduct construction litigation
• Evaluate design drawings and documentation
• Communicate with clients, interface with code officials, and contractors
• Provide detailed reports
• Manage multiple project assignments
• Execute projects on time and within budget
• Retain and develop client relationships
• Travel, as needed, on short notice

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Minimum 10 Years Structural Engineering experience in design or other backgrounds promoting an understanding of structural behavior
• State of Colorado Licensed Professional Engineer through NCEES examination
• Knowledge of national building and construction codes (ICC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, NDS, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience of structural engineering concepts, principles, and practices
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience in providing Litigation Support including Expert Testimony at Depositions and/or Trial, Mediation and Arbitration proceedings, desirable

• Field experience
