Responsibilities
- Prepare structural design drawings, including foundation plans, structural layouts, sections, elevations, reinforcement details, anchor bolt layouts, and construction details.
- Develop drawing packages for substations, transmission line structures, BESS facilities, equipment foundations, control buildings, gantries, equipment supports, and miscellaneous steel structures.
- Draft reinforced concrete and structural steel details, including connection details, anchor bolts, support frames, and fabrication details.
- Assist engineers with structural construction documents, foundation drawings, equipment support drawings, and detailed design packages.
- Support civil/site drawing development, including site plans, grading plans, drainage layouts, access roads, ditches, culverts, and erosion and sediment control plans.
- Use Civil 3D to assist with surface development, grading, profiles, drainage layouts, and earthwork quantities, as required.
- Coordinate structural foundations and equipment supports with civil grading, drainage, site constraints, and electrical equipment layouts.
- Review and interpret engineering markups, structural calculations, survey information, geotechnical reports, specifications, vendor drawings, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings.
- Prepare and revise drawings based on internal reviews, client comments, vendor information, and construction feedback.
- Ensure drawing compliance with project standards, local regulations, applicable codes, and industry practices.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and electrical teams to resolve design issues and maintain project schedules.
- Maintain organized project files, drawing sets, revision tracking, and document control procedures.
