About the role

A leading civil engineering consultancy is seeking an ambitious Entry-Level Civil Site Design Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and a clear path for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of civil/site projects, including grading, stormwater management, erosion control, and utility layouts
• Research state and local design standards to ensure regulatory compliance
• Prepare engineering plans, calculations, and supporting documents
• Support the development of technical studies and site evaluations
• Cook up with contractors, municipal staff, and client engineering teams
• Contribute to zoning, permitting, and approval processes
• Provide general support to Project Managers and Project Engineers across multiple development projects

Requirements

• PA E.I.T. preferred
• 02 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of:
• Land development and site work
• Stormwater management
• Grading
• Erosion & sediment control
• Utility design
• Familiarity with regulatory permitting and zoning approvals
• Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and high attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
