We are hiring for one of our clients to provide legal expertise on civil rights matters. The position involves advising on compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws. The role requires analyzing legal issues and providing strategic guidance to internal stakeholders. The position ensures adherence to civil rights standards across diverse operational contexts.
Responsibilities
- Advise on civil rights laws, including but not limited to Title VII, ADA, and Section 1983.
- Draft and review legal documents such as policies, procedures, and compliance reports.
- Conduct legal research on emerging civil rights issues and trends.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on civil rights obligations.
- Collaborate with external counsel and stakeholders on civil rights-related litigation or investigations.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil rights law or related legal practice.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience advising organizations on civil rights compliance and risk mitigation.

$140 - $400/hour
