Civil Project Manager – Site Development

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the management of all phases of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
  • Support the technical delivery of civil engineering projects, including public infrastructure and transportation initiatives.
  • Aid in the development of project scopes, budgets, schedules, and work plans in collaboration with leadership and clients.
  • Track and support the management of project performance, including deliverables and timelines.
  • Participate in construction administration activities such as site visits and progress tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure design and construction requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, design standards, and codes.
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of engineering reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Assist in monitoring project schedules and help ensure timely completion of technical deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff as needed.
  • Support planning and supervision of design and construction activities on advanced projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Oklahoma.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in civil or public infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing Engineering projects such as water/wastewater systems, grading, drainage, roadways, and utility coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Civil 3D.
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations, design standards, and permitting processes.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles related to design, permitting, and construction administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate across disciplines.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
