Key Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate on the design and analysis of civil engineering projects.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with principal engineers and design staff to develop innovative solutions.
- Mentor and lead less experienced project engineers and civil designers.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to perform calculations and simulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Ten (10) or more years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Professional Engineering License in the State of Hawaiʻi.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
