What You'll Do
- Manage civil engineering projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction support.
- Lead the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, technical reports, and calculations.
- Design and oversee land development projects involving site grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and site improvements.
- Manage public infrastructure projects including roadway improvements, water distribution, wastewater collection, and municipal utility systems.
- Cook up coordination with clients, contractors, municipalities, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout project delivery.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and fee proposals.
- Monitor project performance, maintain quality standards, and ensure successful project execution.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff while supporting their professional development.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience.
- Strong background in land development, site design, municipal engineering, or public infrastructure.
- Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and permitting.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil engineering software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Preferred Experience
- Project management and team leadership experience.
- Business development or client relationship management.
- Experience working on commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, or municipal projects.
