Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects
  • Aid with project documentation, scheduling, reporting, and subcontractor coordination
  • Prepare and track Request for Information (RFI), submittals, change orders, and project correspondence
  • Manage project costs, quantities, budgets, and production tracking
  • Coverage of project requirements and schedules through coordination with field personnel
  • Assist with estimating, takeoffs, bid preparation, and project closeout activities
  • Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to support project execution
  • Maintain accurate project records while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements

  • 3-4+ years of experience in civil construction, heavy civil, site development, roadway, utility, or infrastructure projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and field operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Bid2Win, Agtek Earthworks, and/or AutoCAD is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments as required
  • Must be able to commute to Falmouth, MA and regional project sites

Profile

A successful Civil Project Engineer should have:

  • 3-4+ years of experience in civil construction, heavy civil, site development, roadway, utility, or infrastructure projects
