About the role
We are a Civil Engineering company looking for a Civil Engineer to join our growing team. Our firm specializes in trenchless technology engineering and also provides general civil engineering services. We are proud of our ability and reputation for completing challenging projects on time. Most of our projects involve fast-track repairs of failing utilities by using the specialized equipment and techniques that are available in the trenchless industry today.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop civil engineering projects based on the requirements of the client and the project.
- Utilize advanced software tools such as StormCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D to create detailed engineering designs and plans.
- Conduct site investigations to gather data for planning and design.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and design documents.
- Oversee construction and maintenance activities at project sites.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders on project design and implementation.
- Evaluate potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects adhere to health and safety regulations, as well as local and federal construction standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil project engineering.
- Proficiency in using engineering software such as StormCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.
- Proven track record of managing all phases of civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with the capacity to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Pay
Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year
