Civil Project Engineer - Active Transportation

About the role

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, PE to join our Active Transportation team in our Minneapolis office. This is a fantastic chance to work with a talented team of professionals and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed design computations
• Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design
• Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies
• Affords assistance with project design and preparation of plans and specifications
• Prepares cost and quantity take-off estimates

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university or closely related
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• 4+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including transportation and municipal infrastructure
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8 and GIS

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid drivers license and their own transportation
• Bolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students

Pay

Salary Range: $68,000 - $120,000 depending on years of experience and credentials
