Responsibilities
- Oversight of engineering efforts from design through construction on a variety of civil engineering treatment projects.
- Conduct site visits and assessments.
- Participation in meetings with clients to understand project needs and preferences.
- Development of design concepts and proposals, creation of detailed drawings and specifications.
- Collaboration with engineers, architects, and other consultants.
- Presentation of designs to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
- Exploration of new design concepts, incorporation of emerging technologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer registration in TX with ability to obtain in NM & OK.
- At least 4 years of experience in Civil Design - Water and Wastewater Treatment design preferred.
- Experience with software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ArcGIS is preferred.
- Knowledge of civil engineering practices, principles, and keeping up with the ever-changing industry trends.
- Detailed understanding of engineering project management methods with the ability to plan a project start to finish, considering time, cost, and resources.
- Maintaining a high level of organization to maximize business hours for achieving a solid life balance and strategically prioritizing tasks.
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate observations and design systems that withstand the elements on the installation site.
- Able to work in a collaborative environment with non-engineer decision-makers and communicate plans effectively.
