Civil Litigation Paralegal

About The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling Trust Litigation, Public Entity Defense, General Civil Litigation, and Insurance Defense matters. The ideal candidate will independently manage litigation files while supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage litigation files from inception through trial.
• Draft and prepare discovery.
• Cook up depositions and expert witnesses.
• Prepare pleadings and court filings.
• Aid in trial preparation.
• Prepare trial binders and exhibits.
• Handle calendaring and scheduling.
• Track billable time.
• Maintain electronic case files.

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of Civil Litigation Paralegal experience.
• Strong understanding of California civil procedure and discovery.
• Experience with electronic filing.
• Proficiency with Clio or similar case management software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
