Civil Litigation Associate
About the role
Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate with five to eight years of experience in the mass tort space. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting factual investigations, managing discovery, preparing pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, and communicating with clients. Candidates must have an active Minnesota bar license or commit to obtaining one, and additional bar licensure in California, Florida, or Texas is preferred. This position is based in our Minneapolis office and involves working closely with attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.
Responsibilities
- Conducting factual investigations
- Managing discovery
- Preparing pleadings and motions
- Taking and defending depositions

- Managing cases with a high degree of autonomy
Requirements
- An active Minnesota bar license or commitment to obtaining one
- Additional bar licensure in California, Florida, or Texas preferred
- Experience in the mass tort space
- Excellent academic credentials

Benefits
We offer competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and much more. The compensation range for this position is $230,000 to $270,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Associates are also eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
