About the role

An established law firm in Cleveland, Tennessee is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to assume a strong existing civil caseload and take full ownership. The firm’s attorneys are shifting focus to criminal and family law, creating an opportunity for autonomy, courtroom experience, and shaping the civil practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a civil caseload from intake to resolution.
• Develop case strategy and make strategic decisions independently.
• Represent clients in court, conducting hearings and trials.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Contribute to the growth and direction of the firm’s civil practice.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee and in good standing.
• Solid civil litigation experience.
• Comfortable appearing in court and taking the lead.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload from start to finish.
• Confident in making decisions and developing case strategy.
• Desire for ownership and control over files.
• Interest in growing and building a practice.
