About the Role
We’re looking for a Civil Inspector (ACI 1, 2) to support our expanding portfolio of infrastructure projects. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in ensuring quality, durability, and compliance across field inspections, testing, and project execution.
Responsibilities
Technical & Field Inspection
- Prepare inspection schedules by reviewing permits, plans, and specifications.
- Conduct inspections in Geotechnical, Civil, and Structural disciplines, ensuring work complies with relevant codes and standards.
- Issue notices for corrections, interpret codes, and recommend compliance procedures.
- Submit daily inspection reports within.
- Maintain 90%+ completion of all assigned safety training.
- Target zero avoidable safety or equipment incidents.
- Submit 98% of draft reports within 8 hours — with minimal revisions.
- Maintain 95% on-time site check-in/check-out.
- Less than 1 serious issue per quarter related to Inspections, Measuring, and Test Equipment due to technician error, lack of maintenance, or lost/damaged equipment.
Documentation & Quality Records
- Maintain accurate inspection records using AEIS digital reporting tools.
- Review and verify technical documents (e.g., WPS/PQR, lab results, etc.).
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and QA/QC Specialists.
- Contribute to lessons-learned discussions and workflow improvements.
Requirements
Must Haves
- ACI II certification (Active).
- 1–10 years of experience in conducting inspections in Geotechnical, Civil, and Structural disciplines, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
Bonus Points
- Additional credentials ICC Masonry/Bolting.
- Experience supporting public infrastructure or transportation projects.

Pay
Salary Range: $34-$36/hour. This range is based on national market data and may vary widely by experience and location.
