Due to continued growth and a healthy project backlog, the company is seeking an estimator to support ongoing bidding and preconstruction efforts. Job Description Prepare detailed estimates and quantity takeoffs for civil construction projects.Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.Develop labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor pricing.Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.Participate in bid strategy meetings and estimate reviews.Identify project risks and value-engineering opportunities.Support project turnover and handoff to operations teams.Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information.Track market conditions and material pricing trends. The Successful Applicant 3+ years of civil estimating experience.Background in highway, roadwork, utilities, excavation, sitework, or infrastructure projects.Experience with public bid projects strongly preferred.Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.Able to work collaboratively with field and office teams.Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.
